Regal Foul releases This Inferno is so Mesmerizing
Banff, Canada's Regal Foul has released their brand new record entitled "This Inferno Is So Mesmerizing" on April 7, 2026 via High End Denim Records.
Answering a Facebook ad looking to form ‘Banff’s best punk band’ seemed like a ‘no-brainer’ for Gerry Roy (guitar) and Brian MacEachern (bass) in 2017. While that project quickly fizzled out, it started a friendship that would eventually include Mitch McCallum (drums) and form Regal Foul.
McCallum had this to say about the new record: "This album has been a long time coming for us. Recording it ourselves offered up its fair share of hurdles but the final product was something raw, real and something we’re proud of. It describes an age-old tale of regal fouling (messing up royally) and finding a way through the trenches. “This inferno is so mesmerizing” speaks to the part of us that’s a trainwreck bound to crash but also the part of us that hopes for something better."
Regal Foul’s newest album is a crafted tale of defeat and introspection emerging into self-acceptance culminating in the solace of the Rocky Mountains.
