TeethOut and Straight On Til Morning Announce “Straight x Teeth” Split 7” Vinyl Release
Born out of shared shows across the Maritimes, Straight x Teeth captures two bands doing things the old-fashioned way: playing loud, building community, and putting music onto wax.
Limited to just 200 eco-mix vinyl copies worldwide, the split is a physical snapshot of a growing East Coast punk scene that still believes in DIY ethics, real shows, and tangible releases in a world increasingly flooded with disposable digital content and AI-generated noise
TeethOut take over Side A with two fast, melodic skate punk tracks: “For Your Life” and the lead single “Tonight.” Built around a vocal hook that started as a simple voice note from vocalist Josh Lavigne, “Tonight” evolved into one of the band’s most cohesive and energetic songs to date.
“These songs came together differently than usual. ‘Tonight’ started as a voice note from Josh with a chorus stuck in his head, and we built the whole track around that. ‘For Your Life’ was the opposite. We basically set out to play as fast and hard as we could for three minutes and didn’t really hold back.”

For fans of fast-paced melodic punk, TeethOut continue to channel the energy of bands like The Story So Far, No Trigger, Millencolin, and MxPx while refining their own sound with tighter songwriting and bigger hooks.
On Side B, Straight On Til Morning deliver “All For Nothing Pt. 2,” blending emotional pop punk melodies, technical guitars, and breakdown-heavy energy into a track that feels equally heartfelt and explosive.
Describing themselves as “an everything bagel with pop punk cream cheese,” the New Brunswick band pull influence from all over the musical spectrum, balancing humour, emotion, and chaos in equal measure.

The split was produced and mixed by Shawn Taggart for TeethOut, while Straight On Til Morning handled their own recording and mixing duties. Mastering was completed by Cody Blakely at Half Stack Studio, bringing both sides together into one cohesive release.
